About the event

This free and open-to-the-public workshop explores and elicits place-based poetry and literary arts from its participants. What does a trail, a bay, a field, an island, or a mountain have to say? How do cultural and ecological phenomena influence our sense of place, and the stories we pass down?

The workshop will be based in an easily accessible area adjacent to the Cady Mountain Trail Preserve parking lot. Participants will have the option to was;k up to a mile if they choose to explore the trail. Sturdy shoes are highly encouraged.

Please bring long sleeves for bug protection, a comfy thing to sit on, a notebook, and paper!
